Shane's Kitchen goes Supper Club

An insider's tip for all gourmets: Starting in the end of 2008, Shane's Kitchen will host an evening with culinary highlights every first Sunday each month.
The Supper Club Evenings are supposed to be a special treat for Shane's guests. Also financially. Gourmets and cooking lovers among themselves. Many pleasant talks, many ideas, many culinary delights. The maximum number of people per Supper Club Evening is 20. Booking is therefore essential. Whether you are alone, two or five – first come, first served.
How does it work? The standard price for participating in a Supper Club Evening – delicious food, great wines, a pure cooking event – is 70 euros. The first time you will be charged 80 euros because ten euros will be charged as a one-time club membership fee. Supper Club Card included. As a Supper Club Member you can also bring guests after prior announcement.The concept is simple. A must-experience event.

What is the story of the Supper Club?

The story is simple: At the end of 2007 Shane McMahon opened a kitchen studio in the heart of Munich. A neat and sweet location. Cooking events, cooking courses, meetings, seminars, gourmet meals – all this takes place at this location. Only closed events.Within a few months more and more people call the hotline of Shane's Kitchen: They want to book a table. Can't do that. Only small groups or cooking course participants can enjoy the culinary pleasures here. 
Then a discussion with a good friend. He would like to enjoy Shane's food every now and then as well, either alone or in somebody's company. Difficult: Shane's Kitchen is not an ordinary restaurant. What now? An American friend then set the ball rolling: Why not open a Supper Club? Supper Club? In the US this idea has been established for a long time. A dinner club with evening programme in a laid-back ambiance. Simple meals. Good drinks. Easy-going. In short: A group of like-minded people. How can this work in Munich?

This is the idea: In general every first Sunday each month – starting in December 2008 – Shane's Kitchen will host a Supper Club Evening. The evenings will start at 7 pm. Flying Food, many small „flying" courses will be served. You can eat at bar tables or have a seat at restaurant tables. Easy-going. Relaxed. Everybody can look over Shane's shoulder while he is cooking and arranging food. Fitting wines. Gourmet networking.
